BLA Claims Responsibility for Multiple Attacks on Pakistani Forces
QUETTA: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for several attacks against Pakistani forces, Independence Day preparations, and other installations across Balochistan.
The BLA’s spokesperson, Azad Baloch, informed the media that their freedom fighters targeted the so-called August 14 rally, organized by the Pakistani military and their collaborators in Mand Soro, near the FC camp, with a remote-controlled bomb.
The Pakistani army and their mercenary agents reportedly included some naive citizens in the rally as human shields for their protection.
Therefore, our fighters strategically ensured the attack was carried out at the last moment so that no innocent person was harmed.
However, he added, “We strongly warn every family in the area to closely watch their people.
“The BLA does not guarantee the safety of any civilian who deliberately joins the ranks of the occupying army or their collaborators in such attacks.”
Harnai
According to Azad Baloch, on the evening of August 14, BLA fighters launched a fierce attack on the positions of Pakistani forces in the Sepin Tangi area of Harnai.
As a result of the attack, two personnel of the Pakistani forces were killed, and three were injured.
Kalat
On August 13, the BLA attacked a post of the Pakistani forces in the Shah Mardan area of Kalat with rockets and automatic weapons. The troops reportedly suffered casualties and financial losses.
Rakni, Harnai
BLA fighters attacked a ‘spy mobile tower’ on August 13 in the Rakni area of Harnai, Balochistan.
The tower was installed under the direction of Pakistani military and intelligence agencies in the Rakni area of Harnai.
The tower was disabled by setting fire to the machinery and surveillance equipment.
Azad Baloch took responsibility for these attacks on behalf of the Baloch Liberation Army.
Four Blasts in Gwadar
Pakistani forces came under a remote-controlled bomb attack in the Pishukan area of Gwadar, Balochistan, on Wednesday.
According to sources, the attack occurred on the seashore in Pishukan, where a pre-installed remote-controlled bomb exploded.
Local sources reported the explosion was severe, with the sound heard far and wide.
There are reports that two personnel of the Pakistani forces were injured in the blast.
It should be noted that this was the fourth attack in Gwadar targeting the so-called August 14 celebrations and preparations.
Earlier in the day, bomb explosions were reported in two different areas of Gwadar, Jiwani, and Pasni.
Additionally, two bombs were found during the August 14 preparations in the Panwan area of Gwadar.
No organization has so far claimed responsibility for the Gwadar attacks.
It is important to note that Pakistani authorities had claimed they would make Gwadar International Airport operational by August 14.
However, due to continuous attacks by Baloch fighters and political resistance, Pakistan has failed to make the airport operational.
China, which has already expressed dissatisfaction over Pakistan’s inability to protect CPEC projects, is likely to be further irked by this latest failure of Pakistan.
