Balochistan: Female Lawyer Shot Dead in Zahedan

DOZZAAP (ZAHEDEAN): A Baloch female lawyer was shot dead on the evening of Tuesday, December 3, 2024, on Boruzgmehr Street in Zahedan.

The victim was identified as Samiyeh Hossein Borr (Mollahzai), a 37-year-old woman from Gusht in the Saravan district, who resided in Zahedan, the capital of Iranian-occupied Balochistan (IOB).

According to sources, Mrs. Hossein Borr was getting out of her car when armed individuals in another vehicle opened fire on her.

She was struck by four bullets in the head and was transferred to Imam Ali Hospital in Zahedan, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

At the time of filing this report, the motives behind her murder and the identities of the assailants remain unknown.
