U.S. Sanctions Four Entities Linked to Pakistan’s Ballistic Missile Program
Balochistan: 3 bullet-ridden bodies found, several abducted during Turbat and Gwadar operations
QUETTA: Pakistani security forces have abducted several Baloch youths from different areas of Balochistan on Sunday (17/01/2016).
According to details the Pakistani security conducted raids in Jiwani’s Paanwan area in the early hours of Sunday morning and arrested several innocent civilians.
The inhabitants of Jiwani and independent sources reported that Pakistani forces also broke into houses and harassed women and children.
The whereabouts of abducted people remains unknown.
Separately, three bullet-ridden bodies were found in Gwarkob mountain region of Turbat on Sunday.
Local sources reported that the men were whisked away from Hoshaab region on 13 January, 2016.
The bodies of the victims were identified as that of Ghani Baloch, Noshad Baloch and Maqsood Baloch.
The Baloch National Movement (BNM) in a press statement said that Maqsood was the Hoshaab zone vice president of their party while the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) said Ghani Baloch and Noshad Baloch were sarmachars (freedom fighters) from their organisations.
Both BNM and BLF paid tributes to their respective party members for their steadfastness in the struggle for freedom of Balochistan.
In another but similar raid the Pakistan security forces abducted Master Qadir, Naseeb and Naseem Mohammad from Jammak Bazar and shifted them to an undisclosed location.
Several houses were also reportedly set on fire in Jammak Bazar attack on civilian population.
Meanwhile the Pakistani forces also abducted four men from Gwand Saren region of Hoshaab in Kech district of Balochistan.
The abducted men have been named as Ghafoor son of Gungozar, Nasir son Bhadeen and Doshanbeh son of Sayeed.
It is worth mentioning that Pakistani forces have abducted Dr Barkat, Amir Bakhsh along with five other people from Hoshaab region five days ago whose whereabouts remains unknown.
