Pakistan Military Offensives: Punjabi Army Will Not Succeed in Balochistan
Balochistan: Pakistan Coast Guards and Military Intelligence officials attacked in Jiwani
GAWADAR: A Baloch pro-freedom armed organization has attacked personnel of Pakistan Coast Guards and Military Intelligence in Jiwani area of Balochistan on Sunday evening killing four officials on the spot and injuring two other.
According to reports the Coast Guards and Military Intelligence personnel were shot dead in the main Bazar of Jiwani. The attackers managed to flee from the scene after killing the officials.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson of Baloch Liberation Army, Jeeand Baloch, accepted the responsibility of attack on Pakistani coast guards in Jewani area of Gwadar.
Baloch informed local media from an undisclosed location and said that Baloch freedom fighters killed four personnel of Coast guards & Military Intelligence (MI) and wounded two others.
Mr Jeehand said, “We have said it time and again that the occupier and its collaborators will not be allowed on Baloch land and to exploit Balochistan’s resources.”
He said that the Jiwani attack is a clear message to Pakistan and its allies that their exploitative designs will be strongly resisted.
The BLA spokesperson also said that China should immediately abandon the exploitation of Balochistan’s resources and its collaboration with Pakistan.
“Pakistan’s atrocities in Balochistan are increasing day by day and China would be considered an equal partner in such crimes of Pakistan against Baloch nation,” Jeeand Baloch added.
He further said, “We want to draw the attention of civilized world especially neighbouring countries to Baloch freedom struggle and urge them to support Baloch pro-freedom resistance organisations to regain the freedom of Balochistan.”
Baloch nation has been resisting against the illegal occupation of resource-rich Balochistan by Pakistan since 1948. The Baloch also strongly oppose the CPEC as they see it an exploitative nexus between China and Pakistan against Balochistan.
According to Reuters, Militants [Baloch freedom fighters] trying to disrupt the CPEC project have killed 44 workers since 2014, an official said on Thursday, a rising toll likely to reinforce Chinese worry about the project’s security.
