Pakistan Military Offensives: Punjabi Army Will Not Succeed in Balochistan
Balochistan: Abducted Baloch football player killed in fake encounter
QUETTA: A bullet-riddled and mutilated dead body was found dumped in Kallag Kulanch area of district Gwadar Balochistan on 30th April 2017.
The dead body was later identified as that of Habibullah a Baloch footballer and resident of Ward no: 6 area of Pasni district Gwadar.
The Pakistan FC (Frontier Corps) and intelligence agencies raided the Baloch football player house on April 8, 2014, only a few days before his wedding and abducted him.
In past three years, he has not been produced to a court of law neither was his family informed about his whereabouts and wellbeing.
On April 30, 2017, the mutilated and bullet wounded body of Habibullah was found being clear marks of gruesome torture.
The Pakistani security forces, as usual, claimed to have killed a ‘militant’ during a gun battle between security forces and ‘miscreants’.
However, the Baloch pro-freedom and human rights activists say that Pakistan has a track record the previously abducted Baloch in custody and to hide its crimes against humanity the Pakistani forces fabricate staged encounters.
In December 2016, the Pakistan security forces attack a football match in Killi Sargad area of Kardgaap in Mastung and abducted four Baloch footballers. The whereabouts of the players remain unknown since their abduction and their families have used all peaceful and democratic venues for their safe return but to no avail.
The recent wave of staged encounters by Pakistan forces and in-custody killing of previously abducted Baloch activists have doubled the fear of the enforced-disappeared Baloch activists about the safety of their loved ones.
