Balochistan: Four Pakistani soldiers killed in Baloch fighters’ ambush, BLA accept responsibility for the attack
QUETTA: At least four Pakistan soldiers were killed and several others wounded in an ambush by Baloch fighters in Saikhen Arandani area in district Kohlu Balochistan Wednesday.
According to details, Pakistani forces have been conducting military offensives in different regions of Kahan and Kohlu from past three days.
On Wednesday, when Pakistani forces were returning after offensives in Nisao, Soren Kaor, Baryli, Arandani and Shaikhan they were ambushed by Baloch fighters in Shaikhan Arandani area.
As a result of the attack, at least four Pakistani troops were and several others have been wounded.
Meanwhile, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has accepted responsibility for the attack on Pakistan forces in a statement to media.
The BLA spokesperson, Azad Baloch, said that Pakistani troop backed by gunship helicopters have bombed villages, set the huts of people on fire and looted their livestock.
‘Our friends have attacked them on Wednesday afternoon as they were leaving the area after an offensive against civilians on Wednesday killing four soldiers and wounding several others,’ Azad Baloch said.
He said, ‘BLA accepts responsibility for the ambush.’
