Balochistan: Protests Intensify Over Enforced Disappearances as Families Demand Justice
Balochistan: Four abducted from Kech and Gwadar
QUETTA: Pakistani security forces have abducted four persons including two brothers from Balochistan’s district Kech and Gwadar on Friday.
According to details Pakistan FC and intelligence agencies carried out an offensive house-to-house search operation in Herronk area of Turbat in district Kech Balochistan.
Three including two brothers have been whisked away in the unwarranted offensive.
The victims have been named as Siraj son of Dad Mohammad and his brother Mohammad son of Dad Mohammad whereas the third person has been identified as Bahram son of Basham.
The Pakistani forces have terrorised women and children and looted valuables during the operation.
Meanwhile, Pakistani forces have abducted another Baloch youth from district Gwadar’s Nok Abad area on Thursday evening (21 February).
The abducted youth has been named as Yasir son of Mohammad Raheem resident of Basadi Dasht region. The Pakistani forces initially detained his companion Hafeez as well but he was released later.
The phenomenon of enforced disappearances in Balochistan has begun after the illegal occupation of Baloch land when the Baloch nation started their liberation struggle.
The arbitrary arrest and extrajudicial killing of Baloch activists and those who raise their voice against Pakistani state brutalities in Balochistan continue to this day.
