Pakistan’s Kashmir solidarity rallies are a facade: Hyrbyair Marri
LONDON: Baloch pro-freedom leader and the head of Free Balochistan Movement in a social media message that Pakistan was deceiving the world in name of pro-Kashmir rallies.
He said Pakistan was trying to show the world that people are taking part in ‘Kashmir solidarity rallies’ willingly but in reality, they are being forced to join events against their will.
Mr Marri tweeted,
‘Pakistan is dissembling the world by assembling these rallies in support of the Kashmiri people, they are trying to show that people are joining the rallies with their free will, but this is just a façade.’
It is pertinent to mention that one day prior to 14 August the DC office in Quetta had ordered ‘all the ministerial staff of the office alongwith Tehsildars & Revenue Staff to attend the ‘Jalsa’ (rally) as priority otherwise strict action under BEEDA act 2011 will be taken against them.’
Mr Hyrbyair Marri also included hashtags #14AugustBlackDay and #BalochistanSolidarityDay with his tweet. These hashtags along with #BalochistanIsNotPakistan went viral and trended top in India on 14th of August.
The Free Balochistan Movement announced on Tuesday to run an online campaign using ’14 August Black Day’ and Indian people announced ‘Balochistan Solidarity Day’ to support the struggle of the Baloch nation for their freedom.
Balochwarna received reports of other similar rallies and gatherings where Pakistan army in its efforts to imposed the ‘independence day’ forced schools children, transporters and other sections of society against their free will in Balochistan and Pashtun regions to take part in events that people had no interest in.
