Balochistan: Pakistani forces abduct two Baloch from Tump

QUETTA: The Pakistani forces cordoned off the area on Tuesday morning and arrested two apprehended two persons during the offensive in district Kech’s Tump region.

It is to be recalled that Pakistani forces have been conducting ground offensives in the area for the past several days.

The missing persons during Tuesday’s unprovoked attack were identified as Ishtiaq son of Master Sudir and Obaid son of Adam.

Balochistan has seen a sharp rise in enforced disappearances over the past two weeks, with dozens of young people, especially students, arrested and disappeared by Pakistani forces and intelligence agencies.

On the other hand, various Baloch pro-freedom political parties and Human Right organisations in Balochistan have been raising their voices against enforced disappearances.

Baloch parties say that Pakistan army, FC and intelligence agencies are the culprits of enforced-disappearances in Balochistan but the UN and international HR organisations are not doing enough to hold Pakistani forces to account for its crimes against the Baloch nation.
