Balochistan: Mother killed, 4 years old daughter injured for resisting burglary
QUETTA: Armed robbers killed a woman and wounded her 4-year-old daughter for resisting a burglary in Turbat city of Balochistan’s Kich district, Tuesday evening.
The family members of the victim apprehended one of the assailants at the crime scene and handed him over to the police.
The police also claimed to have detained another accomplice of the burglar and recovered the murder weapon – a Kalashnikovs – and the motorcycle he used for the crime.
The burglar who broke into a house in Dannuk area of Turbat, Balochistan reportedly belong to a ‘strong network’ of criminals and they operate with the blessings of Pakistan’s intelligence agencies and army.
Pakistan army has set up several checkpoints in Balochistan, especially, Makuran region where they stop common people at every check post and search them.
The criminal gangs and local death squads, however, roam free armed to teeth under the patronage of Pakistan army, FC and intelligence agencies.
The victims of Tuesday night have been named as deceased Malik Naz and her daughter 4-year-old daughter Bramsh Baloch.
A family member of the victims lodged an FIR naming Altaf son of Mazar resident of Absor Turbat and Basit son of Faiz for robbery and murder of Malik Naz who was killed as she put up a resistance against the robbers at her house.
Meanwhile, Baloch social media activists have also pointed fingers at Zahoor Buledi – the Minister for Finance – at Balochistan Provincial government from district Kech for having connections with the robbers’ gang.
The activists posted a picture of the alleged ‘leader of the criminal’ gang who is seen in the photo flanked by a smiling Mr Buledi.
