QUETTA: The mother of Jahanzeb Qambrani along with the family members of Hassan Qambarani and Hizbullah Qambarani has participated in the protest camp of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons in front of Quetta Press Club and recorded her protest, Monday.

She said that Jahanzeb Qambrani son of Abdul Sattar Qambrani was abducted at the night of 3rd May 2016 from his house in Kali Qambraniby Pakistani forces and intelligence personnel and transferred to an unknown location. The family has not heard of him since.

Jahanzeb Qambrani’s mother said that she had reached out to the leaders and representatives of political parties for the last three years, including protesting for the recovery of her son, ‘but my son has not been recovered yet.’

“If there is any allegation against my son, he should be produced in court and given the right according to the law,” he said.

Like other parts of Balochistan, Kali Qambrani in the capital Quetta is also affected by enforced disappearances, where mutilated bodies were found after their disappearance of several youths.  Many of whom are still missing.

Hassan and Hizbullah Qambarani have been abducted on 14 February 2020. Their families have been on protest since their abduction and disappearance.

On the day of Eid a sister of Hassan told journalists during a protest, ‘How can I celebrate Eid when my brother is missing?’
