 Balochistan: Arbitrary arrests of political activists continue unabated

Pakistani forces have abducted at least nine persons from Mashkay, Gwadar and Dukki Balochistan Tuesday.

According to details the security forces of Pakistan raided Gujjar Bazar Mashkay on Tuesday and abducted two Baloch activists Asadullah and Mehrullah Baloch from their shop.

Separately in similar operation Pakistan forces abducted six persons from Dukki colony of Killi Tawani.

The abducted men have been named as Mohammad Iqbal, Taj Mohammad, Abdul Sattar, Naseem, Mohammad Azim and Jumma Khan.

Meanwhile Pakistan Frontier Corps (FC) and Secret services personals arrested and disappeared a young Baloch artist Mr Irfan Meher from Coastal town of Gwadar Balochistan.

Two days ago on 27 September, 2015 Pakistani forces also abducted Hakeem son of Shafeeq from Gwadar.

The abducted men have been shifted to an undisclosed location and their whereabouts remained unknown until filing of this report.

Few weeks ago the Home Secretary of Balochistan confirmed that Pakistan forces abducted more than 8000 people from Balochistan in past nine months but the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons says that more than 19000 Baloch are victims of enforced disappearances in Balochistan.
