 Balochistan: Three Baloch fighters killed in Pakistani forces’ ambush in Awaran

QUETTA: At least three Baloch fighters of an armed organisation have been killed when the Pakistan security forces ambushed their routine patrol in Jhao area of district Awaran Balochistan on Friday afternoon.

According to detail, three Baloch fighters of a pro-independence armed organisation were killed when Pakistani forces ambushed a routine patrol of the Baloch fighters in Waadhi region of Jhao Balochistan.

The deceased Baloch fighters have been named as Rashid Ali son of Bashir Ahmad, Orangziab son of Ghulam Qadir and Gulsher son of Dilmurad whereas the rest of their comrades escaped unhurt.

Meanwhile, Gwahram Baloch, the spokesperson of Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), in a statement paid glowing tributes to the three ‘martyred’ fighters.

He said that all three fighters were affiliated with BLF since 2013 and had previously taken part in successful missions against enemy [Pakistani forces].

Gwahram also claimed that several Pakistani soldiers were killed and wounded during Friday’s battle.

He added, ‘The sacrifices of national martyrs are a guiding torch for us and we will strive to accomplish their mission of an independent Balochistan’.
