Balochistan: Gas exploration company attacked in Kohlu

QUETTA: A gas exploration company and its security staff were attacked in Kohlu’s Jaandraan mountain region on Tuesday resulting in losses.
According to details, unknown attackers have fired BM-12 and rockets on a gas company and its security officials in Maadi Tall site in mount Jandraan region of district Kohlu Balochistan.
Meanwhile, Azad Baloch, the spokesperson of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) informed media sources that on Tuesday, 22 June, BLA fighters attacked the Maadi Tall site of the gas company which he said, ‘is involved in natural gas extraction in Kohlu district of occupied Balochistan.’
He further added that they also fired rockets at the security forces assigned for the protection of the company.
Azad Baloch’s statement claimed that the attack resulted in casualties and damage to the property of the company.
He said, ‘our organisation the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) accepts responsibility for this attack. The company was engaged in plundering the national resources of Balochistan.’
He reiterated that the Baloch Liberation Army will not allow such exploitative schemes in Balochistan and that such attacks will continue till the independence of Balochistan.
