 Balochistan: Friday protests continue despite Iranian forces’ violence

DOZZAAP (ZAHEDAN): The Baloch residents took to the streets against the Iranian state terrorism Zahedan, the capital city of Western Occupied Balochistan, on Friday 3rd March.  

The protesters were carrying banners and placards with slogans such as “Death to Khamenei”, “Death to the dictator” and other slogans.

This protest demonstration of the Baloch people started from Makki Masjid Zahedan and reached the main market while patrolling the various highways of Zahedan.

The protestors demanded the immediate release of Baloch youths who have been arrested during peaceful protests and charged with fabricated cases.

Baloch protesters raised slogans in favour of Maulana Abdul Hameed Ismailzahi, Maulana Muhammad Hussain Gurgej Maulana Fazlur Rehman Kohi and Maulana Abdul Ghaffar Naqshbandi. These religious scholars

Baloch in Khash city of Balochistan also protested against Iranian atrocities. The Iranian security forces unsuccessfully tried to stop the protesters by blocking the highways but the Baloch continued their protest and defied the Iranian forces’ hurdles.

In Galiksh city the Baloch and Turkmen people took to the streets and raised slogans against the Iranian government regarding the arrest of Sunni cleric Maulana Hussain Gurgej.

The Iranian forces have arrested dozens of people in Khash, Zahedan and Galkish cities. However, the identity of the arrested persons could be ascertained at the time of filing this report.

It is pertinent to note that most major cities of Iranian Occupied Balochistan have been in grip of protests and faced Iranian forces violence since the rape of a Baloch girl by the police chief of Chabahar and the bloody Friday massacre of more than 100 Baloch in one day in Zahedan.
