Balochistan: 14 Pakistani Personnel Killed in Panjpai Clashes, three Baloch fighters lost their lives: BLA
SHAAL (QUETTA): The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has said that its fighters killed approximately 14 Pakistani military personnel during a clash in the Mohammad Khel area of Panjpai on September 25, while three of its own members lost their lives while defending their homeland, Balochistan.
In a statement issued on October 20, BLA spokesperson Azad Baloch said the group had repelled an offensive launched by Pakistani forces.
According to the statement, fighting began around 6 a.m. and continued until about 4 p.m. The spokesperson said Pakistani forces deployed a large number of personnel, supported by drones, during the offensive.
The BLA identified two of its members killed in the clash as Abdul Hameed, alias Bilali Baloch, a resident of Nushki and Naseeb alias Asad Baloch, from Manguchar. The organisation withheld the identity of the third fighter, saying it would announce it later in line with its internal confidentiality policies.
The group said all three fighters had joined the organisation in 2023 and had participated in several engagements against Pakistani forces.
Paying tribute to the three members, the BLA reiterated its commitment to its campaign for an independent Balochistan. The spokesperson said the organisation would continue its armed struggle until Pakistani forces withdrew from the region.
