Multiple Attacks on Pakistani Forces in Balochistan, Including Bombings and Drone Destruction

SHAAL (QUETTA): A series of attacks targeted Pakistani forces across various regions of occupied Balochistan, including Shaal, Kech, Gwadar and Chagai over the weekend. The incidents involved bomb explosions, shootings, and the destruction of surveillance drones.
These attacks primarily targeted Pakistani police, military and army personnel stationed in the region.
In one of the most significant incidents, an explosion occurred near an ATF (Anti Terrorism Force) vehicle on Krani Road Quetta – the capital city of Pakistan Occupied Balochistan.
The blast injured six officers, one of whom later succumbed to his injuries. The injured were transported to BMC Hospital for treatment where the doctors confirmed the death of one ATF personal and injuries to six five others.
Pakistani authorities and spokesperson of Balochistan’s government Shahid Rind confirmed the attack and said that the explosive device was planted along the roadside. The officer who died was identified as Sepahi Dilbar Khan.
In another incident, unknown assailants threw a hand grenade at a mobile phone shop on Qamberani Road. Police reported that there were no casualties or damages from the attack.
A third explosion occurred in the Killi Shabo area on Airport Road, though the exact nature and extent of the damage are still under investigation.
Meanwhile, on March 15 armed motorcyclists attacked a Levies check post in the Amin Abad area of Chagai and seized the weapons of security forces personnel before fleeing from the scene.
In Gwadar, Pakistani forces were targeted in two separate incidents.
The first attack involved a hand grenade assault on the Coast Guard’s main camp. In a second attack, armed individuals targeted a military post situated along the Gwadar Airport Road.
Additionally, a forces post in the Zamarani Kutan area of Kech was targeted, causing both personnel and material damage to the forces.
In a related development, in the Kolwah area of Kech, unknown armed individuals fired at Pakistani forces’ surveillance drones, rendering them inoperable.
As of now, no militant group has claimed responsibility for any of these attacks. These coordinated assaults on Pakistani forces, however, highlight the ongoing unrest and resistance in occupied Balochistan.
