Decisive American and Israeli Actions Against the Iranian State Are Encouraging: FBM
LONDON: A spokesperson for the Free Balochistan Movement, in a press release to the media, said that the Baloch nation welcomes the courageous decision by the United States and Israel to act against Iran in support of peace and justice in the region.
The Free Balochistan Movement, as the representative party of the Baloch nation, has consistently taken an unequivocal stance on the ongoing tensions in the region. It is an undeniable fact that lasting peace, justice and stability in the Middle East cannot be achieved until Iranian repression, expansionism and exploitative policies in the region are brought to an end.
The occupying Iranian state occupied independent nations in the region during the 1920s. Since then, the Baloch, Kurds, Ahwazi Arabs, Azerbaijani Turks, Turkmen and other nations have continuously faced political, cultural and economic oppression. Grave human rights violations committed by Iran against these nations, including enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings and acts amounting to genocide, point to a prolonged humanitarian crisis that can no longer be ignored.
We strongly emphasise that as a result of Iran’s policies, instability and terrorism have been promoted in the region through proxy groups and non-state actors, with effects felt from the Middle East to the global level. These elements have contributed to rising tensions and insecurity in the region, affecting the security of Israel, Europe, the United States, their allies, and numerous other countries. Ending this expansionist policy and promoting responsible conduct is essential for establishing lasting peace in the region.
At this sensitive and decisive stage, we express full solidarity with all oppressed and subjugated nations struggling against Iran for their fundamental rights, identity, political autonomy and complete freedom. We commend the steps taken by the international community, particularly the United States, Israel, Western countries and other powers, in response to this situation and urge them to make their efforts more effective, coordinated and result-oriented to safeguard human rights, justice and democratic values and to ensure sustainable peace and stability in the region.
The Free Balochistan Movement reaffirms its commitment to raising its voice at every forum for the rights of the Baloch nation and other oppressed nations under Iranian occupation and to continuing its struggle for a future in which freedom, peace, justice, religious tolerance, and democracy are guaranteed for the Baloch people.
