QUETTA: Pakistani security forces from Sindh Rangers have abducted at least eight Baloch Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) including and woman and six children from Kacha region of Sindh on Monday (31/10/2017).
According to details the Sindh Rangers and Pakistan intelligence agencies carried out a joint raid on the house of Sohnra Bugti son of Zahro Bugti, an IDP from Dera Bugti, and abducted his wife, his 12-year-old son Riaz and five other children.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistani forces had already abducted partially blind Zahro Bugti (father of Sohnra Bugti) three year ago from district Kishmore in Sindh. His whereabouts remain unknown to this day.
Thousands of Baloch have fled their native towns and villages after Pakistani army started regular military attacks against Baloch people since 2005.
Initially, most of the refugees from Dera Bugti and Kohistan Marri migrated to Sindh and Punjab provinces of Pakistan.
As the military actions in Balochistan intensify, many Baloch from other regions also fled their home in search of safety.
Now, there are thousands of Baloch IDPs not only in Sindh and Punjab, but many Baloch have also migrated to neighbouring Afghanistan and Iranian occupied Balochistan.
The Pakistan forces, on the other hand, continues to target the Baloch refugees even in Afghanistan, Sindh and Punjab. The houses of Baloch refugees have been attacked on several occasions in Afghanistan where women, children and elderly were killed.
