Free Balochistan Movement to observe round the clock sit-in vigils in London, New York and Amsterdam

LONDON: The Free Balochistan Movement activists will observe a three-day round the clock sit-in vigil in front of Chinese Embassy in London, a 24-hour vigil in front of Consulate General of China in New York and an awareness campaign will be held in Amsterdam.

The ‘round the clock’ vigil in London will be held from 24 June – 26 June on the occasion of ‘International Day in Support of Victims of Torture’. The vigil in New York will commence on the evening of 26 June till the evening of 27 June.

The FBM activists will distribute leaflets and speak to the commuters and members of public about China-Pakistan nexus and China’s support to Pakistan against Baloch nation.

The FBM said, ‘during the three-day vigil the Party activists will inform the media and human rights activists about brutalities of Pakistan army in the name of CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor) in Balochistan, raid and attack on Baloch civilian populations, mass enforced-disappearances in Balochistan, and abduction and humiliation of Baloch women and children by Pakistani forces.’

The issue of kill and dump and the discovery of mutilated dead bodies of Baloch disappeared persons, the discovery of mass graves in Balochistan and the systematic media blackout by Pakistan in occupied Balochistan will also be highlighted during the FBM vigils and campaigns.

These acts of Pakistani state terrorism are tantamount to Baloch genocide and a blatant violation of all international laws and UN conventions. The FBM will continue to raise voice and expose Pakistani state terrorism against the Baloch nation on all international forums.

Earlier the FBM had announced to organise a three-day vigil in Germany’s Berlin city from 26 June – 28 June.
