Pakistan’s attempts to counter Baloch freedom struggle

 On October 14, the foreign minister of Pakistan Shah Mehmood Qureshi and DG ISPR Babar Ifthikar commenced a press conference and held India responsible for all sorts of mess in Pakistan. The prime purpose of the press conference was to defame India before the international community but as usual, the international media and community did give any importance to Pakistan’s lies and allegations.

The silence of the global community indicates that whatsoever Pakistan says is based on propaganda and lies. Despite the fact that even the Baloch nation should remain silent and do not bother to speak or write on the press conference there are some facts which are bold enough to expose the white lie of Pakistani foreign minister and Director-General.

The entire press conference revolved around a single point to disgrace India amid the political turmoil within Pakistan where an angered former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif is calling the names of big guns within the army who are responsible for political engineering and corruption in the artificial country. 

       The DG ISPR Babar Iftikhar categorically blamed India for fanning the Baloch liberation struggle, rising Pakhtun/Pashtun national awareness and Sindhi nationalism. The press conference also reflected the truth that once again, after the change of regime in America, Pakistan is using blackmailing tactics about the Afghan peace process. The interlinking Indian embassy in Afghanistan as the epicentre of RAW is nothing but a joke with the entire world. India is the only country in Afghanistan which is aiming for infrastructure development and investment in Afghanistan and that is irritating Pakistan’s notion of producing radicals for further destruction of the Afghan nation. Pakistan does not want to see a democratic, independent and developed Afghanistan as such an Afghan state will educate its youth – both men and women. Pakistan, however, wants Afghanistan to remain underdeveloped and in the war so that it can hire ignorant Jihadists for its dirty job in Afghanistan.

Pakistan’s branding of militant outfits shows the hypocrisy that the artificial country is doing against the world. For example, there is a popular narrative built by Pakistani army before Pakistani people that Afghan Taliban are an army of Allah and it is Allah who is supporting them but TTP Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, who is the mirror image of Afghan Taliban, are agents of RAW. Pakistan also claims that Baloch freedom fighters are backed by RAW and the Kashmiris Jihadists by supported by Allah, “Kashmiri people are Muslim but Chinese Uyghur Muslims are terrorists.” Today the world is aware of this four-faced country that is the reason no international community responded what the foreign minister and DG ISPR had to say in their Press Conference. 

       Pakistan says that India is using Afghan soil to destabilize Pakistan by supporting Baloch or India dispatched twenty-five highly trained DAESH terrorists to Pakistan, what Pakistani army meant in this statement is that DAESH is basically the plot of countries. The statement reflects that Pakistan firmly believes west and America are founders of DAESH, thereby all nations are using it as a proxy tool for their vested interests. This serious allegation is alarming for the entire world that Pakistan is endorsing DAESH as an entity and linking it as a tool of proxy groups created by powers for their interests which means the sacrifices that Americans and their allies gave in their fight against DAESH are meaningless. Vice versa, the entire world knows that the Taliban are on beck and call of Pakistani army whatsoever Taliban are doing in Afghanistan is under the patronage of Pakistani Army from 9/11 to Mumbai incidents Pakistan’s involvement could not be spared but the silence of international community is empowering Pakistan to attack and defame neighbouring countries. 

  Baloch leader Mr Hyrbyair Marri has been reiterating before the world that the Pakistani army is playing a dual game with the global community in the name of the war on terror. He also added on several forums that Pakistan should be held accountable for its role on the war on terror and human rights, but no attention was paid to this serious issue. If India is behind the Tehrik-e-Taliban-Pakistan then how former spokesperson of TTP Ehsanullah Ehsan managed to escape and safely reached to Turkey – a liked-minded friend of Pakistan.

 Pakistan is also using TTP as a tool to sabotage the Baloch freedom movement. The DG ISPR said India is trying to formulate alliance among Baloch Freedom Fighters and TTP. It must be clear that Pakistan is playing war of nerves with Baloch freedom seekers for any possible alliance with TTP so that the Taliban chapter of the army within TTP can trap the Baloch freedom fighters and eradicate them. How is it even possible that TTP being an Islamic radical organization takes support from India, a secular state, against the Islamic State of Pakistan? This is clearly manifest that Pakistan is playing its tactics to trap and sabotage the Baloch freedom movement.

The top Baloch visionary leader Mr Hyrbyair Marri and his like-minded comrades have discussed these tactics of Pakistani army on several political circles of Free Balochistan Movement (FBM) that Baloch should understand the dirty games of both Iran and Pakistan. The recent killing of Umar Shahozai aka Mullah Umar indicates that Iran and Pakistan have apparently made a deal to eradicate each other’s enemies – i.e. the Baloch freedom fighters at all cost. Iran has already killed several Baloch pro-freedom activists who belong to Pakistan occupied Balochistan under different pretexts in Iranian Occupied Balochistan.

 It is high time for the world and especially India and Afghanistan that they should understand the new game of Pakistan within the region and on international level. If Pakistan succeeds in its evil designs, it will have drastic affects not only on Afghanistan, Balochistan and India but the entire region will be radicalised and brains washed in turning into future Jihadists.

 Lastly, the change of regime in America once again provides room to Pakistan for blackmailing USA and NATO on the Afghan issue. The Baloch nation is “binding ray of hope” that to contain Pakistan’s hooliganism in the region and on international level, the world and neighbouring Afghanistan and India must support the Baloch liberation struggle for the sake peace and stability in the region.
