 Balochistan: BLA claims responsibility of attack on Pakistani forces in Tump

KECH: Two Frontier Corps (FC) soldier were killed and several others were wound in two separate attacks in Tump and Panjgur areas of Balochistan on Sunday.

According to details a convoy of Pakistani forces was attacked with a rocket-propelled grenades and other automatic weapons in Shay Chiraghi area of Tump in Kech district, Balochistan.

Jeand Baloch, a spokesperson the Baloch Liberation Army, claimed responsibility of the attack and said that at least two FC soldiers including a subedar were killed in Tump attack.

Mr Baloch said: “Our Sarmachars (freedom fighters) attacked the security forces’ convoy with RGP and other automatic weapons killing at least two soldiers including a Subedar and injuring several others.”

Speaking to NNI from an undisclosed location Jeand Baloch said that after that attack Pakistani security forces established several check points in the area and started brutalising innocent people.

He vowed that Baloch freedom fighters will intensify such ‘deadly’ attacks against Pakistani forces until they achieve their gaol.

FC spokesperson Khan Wasay confirmed the attack and Pakistani media quoted him as follows: “A group of armed men fired a rocket propelled grenade at an FC vehicle in Tump area which was followed by intense firing; as a result of the firing, a FC subehdar Shireenul Islam was killed and two personnel sustained injuries.”

Separately, three Pakistani soldiers were wounded in a remote controlled attack on an FWO vehicle in Washaap Sarikoran area of Panjgur, Balochistan.

The injured Frontier Works Organisation security official have been named as Mohammad Afzal, Deen Mohammad and Mohammad Farooq.
