 Balochistan: Elderly man abducted from Herronk

QUETTA: Pakistani security forces have raided a house in district Kech Balochistan on Saturday (29 Dec) and abducted an elderly man.

According to the details, the Pakistani FC and intelligence agencies have conducted a raid in Herronk area of district Kech in Balochistan and abducted an elderly man namely Balach son of Mirza.

Sources reported that Pakistani forces harassed and beaten up women and children during the raid.

In another incident on 30 December, Pakistani forces abducted several people during military offensives and house-to-house search operations in Kech.

However, most of the victims were later release apart of Shanbeh son of Yousaf whose whereabouts remain unknown.

Despite the new government’s claim of resolving the issue of enforced disappearances in Balochistan, the illegal abductions of Baloch people continue unabated.

The families of disappeared Baloch continue their token hunger strike at Voice for Baloch Missing Person’s camp outside Quetta Press Club from past ten years.
