BLA Claims Attack on Security Check Post in Nushki, Says Eight Personnel Killed

NUSHKI, BALOCHISTAN:  The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has accepted responsibility for an attack on a newly constructed security check post in the Galingoor Pelyan area of Nushki district, claiming that eight Pakistani security personnel were killed during the assault.

In a statement issued on June 15, 2026, BLA spokesperson Azad Baloch said the attack was carried out by the group’s fighters on the evening of June 13, shortly after sunset.

According to the statement, the attackers used heavy and modern weaponry to target the check post, where approximately 10 personnel were reportedly stationed.

They added that the attack continued for an extended period and resulted in the deaths of eight personnel, while others were wounded. However, there was no immediate official statement from Pakistani authorities regarding the incident.

The BLA stated that it accepts responsibility for the attack. In its statement, the organisation reiterated its objective of continuing its armed campaign until the independence of Balochistan and the withdrawal of Pakistani forces.
