The fifth victim of CTD fake encounter named
SHAAL (QUETTA): The body of the fifth victim of the Pakistani Police’s Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has now been identified as Ashraf Baloch son of Nabi Bakhsh.
According to a news report by Humgaam News, Ashraf was abducted from Mastung, Balochistan, in September 2023. He was one of the five Baloch youths killed in a fake encounter in Mach last month.
It should be remembered that the occupying Pakistani army martyred five previously abducted Baloch youths in a fake encounter on February 2, 2024, in the Mach area of Bolan.
The youths were abducted from different regions of Balochistan and were already in the custody of Pakistani forces.
The other victims included: Sobdar Marri, son of Gulzar Khan, who was forcibly disappeared from Harnai Bazar on September 9, 2023, by CTD.
Armaan Marri, son of Nihal Khan, and Bashir Ahmad Marri, son of Haji Khan, were forcibly disappeared from Quetta Eastern Bypass on July 2, 2023, by CTD and FC officials.
Shakeel Ahmed, son of Muhammad Ramzan, was forcibly disappeared from Zehri on June 4th, 2023, by Pakistani intelligence officials.
It should be remembered that the bodies of the martyred youths, killed in a fake encounter by CTD, were brought to the Quetta Civil Hospital on February 3, 2024.
Four were identified, but the identity of the fifth youth could not be ascertained due to the disfigurement of his face.
Previously, Pakistani forces have killed several other Baloch in custody and later shown their judicial murder as fake encounters.
The infamous CTD in Balochistan has been granted full immunity to carry out acts of violence and crimes against humanity. Baloch political activists and social activists accuse CTD of community violence on behalf of the Pakistani army.
