Family of Abducted Baloch Man Protests on CPEC Route
QUETTA – In the Chitkan area of Panjgur, unidentified armed motorcyclists abducted a young man named Allah Nazar, son of Khuda Nazar, at gunpoint from his office yesterday. The assailants forcibly took him to an undisclosed location.
In response to his abduction, the family of the missing youth took to the streets, blocking the main CPEC road to all types of traffic. This protest has resulted in a complete halt to traffic flow on the critical CPEC route.
Allah Nazar’s relatives have appealed to the authorities to take the matter seriously and ensure his safe return. They have also called on the people of Panjgur and human rights organizations to join their cause, considering it a shared pain.
According to the family, this is not the first time they have faced such a tragedy. They said that Allah Nazar’s two brothers, Jahanzeb and Shah Nazar, were forcibly disappeared by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) a few years ago. The brothers were subjected to false charges and were later released.
The family fears that similar baseless allegations might be levelled against the innocent Allah Nazar as well.
