Baloch Liberation Army Claims Responsibility for Grenade Attack in Kharan

QUETTA: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has accepted responsibility for a hand grenade attack carried out on April 23 targeting the hideout of a non-local individual allegedly working with Pakistani intelligence agencies in the Shah Mir Bor area of Kharan city.

According to a statement issued by Azad Baloch, spokesperson for the BLA, the attack targeted a man identified as Manzoor, who has long-standing collaboration with Pakistani intelligence.

The BLA says that Manzoor has been actively involved in intimidation tactics, including sending threats and engaging in blackmail against local residents at the behest of state agencies.

The statement described the grenade attack as a warning, intended to pressure him to leave the area immediately. “This attack was carried out as a warning to the agent to leave the city, or he will be directly targeted in the future,” the statement read.
