Balochistan: Pakistani Forces Disappear Several Individuals, Four Released

SHAAL, BALOCHISTAN: Fresh reports from Balochistan indicate a series of new enforced disappearances across multiple districts, even as four previously missing individuals have been released.

According to local sources, three people were detained by Pakistani forces in district Kech and have since gone missing. The detainees include Master Rafiq, father of the Jind Nadri (self-sacrifice)  attacker Zarina Baloch, as well as her uncle Khuda Dad and Zarina’s fiancé, Zubair.

Family members state that Rafiq was taken from the Tijaban area of Kech, while Khuda Dad and Zubair were detained in Turbat city. They say no information has been provided about the detainees’ whereabouts since their arrest.

This incident follows closely on the heels of an attack a day earlier, in which Zarina Rafique aka Thranag Maho carried out a self-sacrifice attack on Pakistani forces compound in Naukundi area of district Chaghai Balochistan.

According to available information, she initiated the assault as part of a Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) newly launched SOB unit by driving an explosives-laden vehicle into a compound, enabling other attackers to enter the camp.

In separate incidents reported earlier, five individuals were forcibly disappeared from different areas of Balochistan. The cases include Danish son of Nek Bakht, who was detained on 27 November from Shaheed Fida Chowk in Turbat; local police officer Ubaidullah son of Abdul Nabi and Muhammad Shafa son of Safar Khan, both detained on 21 November from Mastung.

In another similar incident, two young residents of Seydan in Panjgur, Naveed Jan son of Abdul Ghani and Sanaullah son of Mia, who were taken into custody on 20 November from the Prom Cross area. Families say they have received no updates regarding the missing individuals.

Meanwhile, the BYC announced on its official Facebook Page that four previously disappeared men have been released and safely returned to their homes.

These include Khaliq Maula Bakhsh, who was detained from Kohlu on 25 August, 2025; Haji Shoaib son of Wahid Bakhsh, who went missing from Panjgur on 7 November, 2025; Bashir Ahmad son of Haji Muhammad Hussain from Kharan on 19 October 2025; and Jibran Ahmed who abcuted on 12 August, 2025 from Nasirabad in Kech.
