Baloch Liberation Army Accepts Multiple Attacks on Pakistani Forces in Balochistan

SHAAL, BALOCHISTAN: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has taken responsibility for a series of attacks on Pakistani military installations and infrastructure across Balochistan. According to statements issued by the group’s spokesperson, Azad Baloch, these operations targeted army camps, check posts, and exploitative projects in Kech, Hub and Kalat, causing both human and material losses to Pakistani forces.

On Thursday, March 26, BLA fighters launched a sudden assault on a Pakistani army camp in Tejaban, Kech district, near the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route. The attack, carried out with modern firearms, reportedly resulted in multiple casualties among Pakistani personnel. The group said the operation caused significant damage and vowed to continue targeting the “occupying Pakistani forces and their exploitative projects” with increased intensity.

Earlier the same day, around 7:00 AM, BLA operatives attacked an exploitative road construction project in Lala Dar, Hub Chowki. Several pieces of heavy machinery, including a road excavator, were reportedly set on fire and destroyed. The project, the BLA stated, was being carried out under the supervision of the Pakistani state and aimed to extract and transport Balochistan’s natural resources, such as marble and other valuable stones, for profit. The BLA warned Pakistan and foreign companies against “plundering Baloch coasts and resources,” promising continued attacks on such projects.

In Kalat, the BLA reported three separate attacks on army camps and check posts over March 18–19, claiming six personnel were killed and three wounded. The first attack occurred on March 18 at a post in Morgand, where one soldier was killed after a half-hour firefight. The following day, March 19, a guerrilla unit attacked a post in Johan, Balochistan, using sniper rifles, killing one soldier and causing additional material losses. Later, in Shah Mardan, the BLA said its fighters killed four soldiers and wounded three during an assault on a Pakistani forces’ camp. The group emphasised that these operations will continue until the “full independence of Balochistan” is achieved.
