U.S. Sanctions Four Entities Linked to Pakistan’s Ballistic Missile Program
Balochistan: 21 people including a young film maker abducted from Mand
QUETTA: Pakistani forces have been conducting military attacks and house-to-house searches in different regions of Mand in district Kech Balochistan since 15 October, 2016. At least two people have been killed and 25 including young Balochi film maker have been abducted and disappeared.
Baloch pro-freedom activists on social media have issue the names and details of the abducted person in last three days’ military offensives from Goburd village of Mand district Kech.
The names of the victims of Enforced Disappearances is as following:
Waleed Nasir ,33 years old poet, independent film maker and actor, Zahid Akbar, 28 years old waiter of a tea house, the food provider and only brother of three sisters, Mujahid Abdul Latif, a 27 years old farmer, Dilawar Haji Karim Bakhsh, 18 years old student, Akbar Rasheed, a 28 years old farmer, Ahmad Murad, a 51 years old taxi driver, Adnan Rasheed, Mujib Latif, Zahid Baloch, Farooq Hassan, Hanif Din Muhammad, Nazeer, Diljan
Several houses were also set ablaze in the village.
Those who were killed in the military operation include Waris Rasheed, Salman Fateh Mohammad.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan forces burnt down several houses, abducted many innocent Baloch civilian during an operation in Naseerabad area.
Sher Mohammed Bugti, the central spokesperson of BRP in a statement from Switzerland said, “Pakistani forces sieged the area and abducted, hanged an innocent Baloch civilian identified as Mubarak Bugti s/o Jana Bugti upside down to a tree for an entire night and then took him along with his family.”
Separately, the Pakistani military have conducted military attacks in Dilband and Nagahi areas of Kalat for the third consecutive day.
At least one Baloch civilian was reportedly killed and several women were taken away by the Pakistan Army during an operation in Dilband and Nagahi areas.
The Baloch Republican Party Media cell reported that Naseerabad military operation is underway for the second day and at least three civilians have been killed due to indiscriminate shelling by Pakistan’s military’s gunship helicopters on Baloch houses.
The Naseerabad bombing victims have been named as Mohammad Ali s/o Loti Bugti, Mahli s/o Loti Bugti, Nozani s/o Kareemo Bugti.
There are also reports of military attacks in Kohistan Marri region of Trathani and Bambor region.
So far no casualty has been reported but it is feared that indiscriminate bombardment has damaged many houses and caused the death of innocent civilians.
