Balochistan: Pakistani forces continue abduciton and killing of Baloch women and children
QUETTA: Pakistani forces have intensified its brutalities across Balochistan to counter the Baloch freedom struggle. Pakistan army, FC and intelligence agencies in their vicious campaigns routinely abduct the female member of Baloch political activists to coerce them to abandon the freedom struggle.
This brutal act of the abduction of Baloch women is done with blanket impunity against the moral boundaries set by Geneva Convention of which Pakistan is a signatory.
Pakistan has been constantly committing war crimes against Baloch nation since the occupation of the sovereign state of Balochistan.
Local sources reported that as recently as yesterday (06/03/2017), Pakistan army has abducted several women and children from Mormasi village of Mashkey in Awaran Balochistan. During this military offensive Pakistan army, has set around 30 houses on fire in the village.
Meanwhile, Baloch social media activists have reported that Pakistani forces abducted more than one dozen female family member of Khuda Bakhsh Baloch’s family along with a toddler from Murmasi Mashkey.
The abducted included four daughters of Khuda Baksh, Sahal Bibi, Durbano, Zubeda, Lal Malik and their mother Rahm Bibi.
In the same Awaran district, Pakistan army carried out another offensive against the people of Buzdad Menshod village and abducted four men, namely Cholo Pathan, Zahid Lal Baksh, Shoaib Jumma and Yaar Mohmmed. Pakistani forces also beat and harass women and children, locals reported.
On March 5, 2017 bullet-ridden dead body of Haneef S/O Nabi Buksh was found in Balnigwar area of Dasht in district Kech Balochistan.
Sources told Balochwarna News that Haneef was abducted on 24th February 2017 during a military offensive but Pakistani forces claimed that they killed him in an encounter.
The anonymous sources also told BW News that Pakistani forces had abducted Haneef along with Ibrahim S/O Shahsawar, Azeem S/O Naguman and Jalal S/O Imam Bakhsh who are still missing.
Only four days back, on 4th March in a similar offensive Pakistan army attacked the house of Mr Altaf Baloch killing one pregnant woman and injuring many others.
Separately, in another offensive, the Pakistan forces abducted at least three persons from Mach area of district Bolan Balochistan. The identity of the abducted men could not be ascertained immediately.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistani forces have abducted dozens of women and children from Dera Bugti and Kohistan Marri areas of Balochistan in last few months.
Pro-freedom Baloch parties and activists say that such acts are Pakistan’s dirty war against Baloch nation but they ‘vow to continue their struggle war liberation’ of Balochistan.
