Balochistan: One killed and four abducted from Kohistan Marri, dead body found in Harnai
QUETTA: At least one person was killed and another four abducted by Pakistani forces from Kohistan Marri region of Balochistan in fresh military offensives.
According to details the spokesperson the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), Mr Azad Baloch, informed media that Pakistan army and para-military forces have conducted offensives in district Kohlu’s Jannatali, Soryn Kaor and surrounding areas on Tuesday.
“The Pakistan army and Para-military forces have cordoned off the affected areas from all sides and started a house-to-house search operation. They also opened indiscriminate firing at resident at several places and set the huts of innocent Baloch on fire,” Azad Baloch said.
He said Mulla Ali Jan Sherani Marri was killed due to the indiscriminate firing of Pakistani forces and his three sons have been abducted and disappeared.
Separately, Pakistani forces also abducted Mando Loharani Marri from his house.
The military offensives that started on Tuesday still continue uninterrupted and the area remains under siege.
Azad Baloch said, “We want to make it clear to the powers (Pakistani state) that they cannot demoralise us through such military offensives and brutalities. In fact, such atrocities will further strengthen our resolves and we will continue our struggle till freedom.”
Meanwhile, a dead body of a previously abducted man was recovered from Speen Tangi area of Harnai Balochistan on Wednesday morning.
The dead body was shifted to a local hospital where its identity has been ascertained as that of Ramzan son of Ali Bakhsh.
Sources reported that the victim was abducted two days ago from Harnai and was missing until his body was found on Wednesday.
