Balochistan: Pakistan forces killed dozens including women and children in Awaran
QUETTA: Pakistani forces have killed at least ten people including a 16-year-old girl during its ongoing military offensives in Mashky region of district Awaran Balochistan.
According to details, the Pakistani military and other security forces started fresh military offensives in many areas of district Awaran since 1st December 2017 in which dozens of people including women and children have reportedly been killed and many abducted.
Due to media blockade the exact number of casualties and damage to property could not be confirmed yet, however, some local media outlets have reported that dead bodies of the 16-year-old daughter of Shikari Arz Mohammad, Babul son of Eido, Abdul Ghani son of Badal, Ghaus Bakhsh son of Shiraki Arz Mohammad and Khair Baksh son of Ali Dost were brought to a local hospital in Nokjo.
Sources also reported that at least twenty-six people including women and children have also been arrested and taken to undisclosed locations by Pakistani forces.
Pakistani forces have conducted operations in Raghay, Nokjo and Gujli Kaor areas where several houses have been destroyed and many people abducted.
The Pakistani forces have also been carrying out offensives in Kolwah since last week.
Thousands of Pakistani ground forces backed by gunship helicopters are taking part in ongoing offensives in Awaran and other areas of Balochistan.
It is pertinent to note that military has intensified its offensives in Balochistan after a Pakistani minister Sarfaraz Bugti has publicly said that Genocide was the only option to resolve security issue in Balochistan.
