Balochistan: Pakistan Military Collaborator’s Hideout Attacked in Kharan
Balochistan: Office of pro-Pakistan political party attacked in Turbat
QUETTA: unknown persons hurled a hand grenade at the office of pro-parliamentarian political Party National Party (NP), headed by Federal Minister of Maritime Affairs Hasil Bezinjo and former Chief Minister of Balochistan Dr Malik Baloch, in Turbat on Thursday.
The grenade exploded outside the main gate and partially damaged the out wall of the office. However, no casualties have been reported in the attack.
The National Party leadership including Central Senior Vice President Engineer Hameed Baloch, Mayor Turbat City Qazi Ghulam Rasool and others have condemned the attack.
They said NP believed in peaceful struggle and such ‘coward attacks’ cannot stop them from raising voice for people of Balochistan.
Meanwhile, the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF)’s spokesman Gwahram Baloch informed media sources that his organisation carried out the attack against at National Party which involved in ‘Baloch genocide’.
He said that the attack was a warning so that the National Party does not deceive innocent Baloch to become its workers who later could be used by intelligence agencies of Pakistan.
“National Party is repeating what the Jamaat Islami did in Bangladesh in the 70s. The Jamaat Islami is getting punished for its role in Bangladesh genocide today.
“We will not wait until tomorrow but bring them to justice right away for their role in Baloch genocide and crimes against humanity. So that Baloch genocide is halted, or others will learn lessons from this history,” Gohram Baloch said.
He said the recent statement of Dr Abdul Malik in which he called for a Swat-style operation in Balochistan and the discovery of mass graves during his tenure as Chief Minister are ample proof of their crimes against Baloch people.
“The National Party is still continuing their crimes in Balochistan. On their [NP] instruction military is planning bloody operations in Dasht, Saaji and Talaar. They will be punished. The Baloch nation should stay away from their offices and those who are involved in such crimes,” Gwahram’s statement read.
Baloch also accepted the responsibility of the attack on Arab hunters in Kaatag area of Hoshab Turbat on December 9.
“This attack was a warning for Arab Royalties that they should not trust a cruel state like Pakistan and come to Balochistan. They should respect the Baloch struggle and should not spoil our historical relations but should try to build and strengthen their [relations with Baloch people],” Gwahram said.
The head of Baloch Liberation Front, Dr Allah Nazar Baloch, recently tweeted that he has ‘instructed Baloch sarmachaar/freedom fighters to eliminate’ Hasil Bezinjo, Dr Malik Baloch and others like them.
However, after few days he deleted his tweets realising that he was inciting murder, and this could prompt the Twitter administration to suspend or delete his twitter account.
Dr Baloch also came under heavy criticism from political and human rights activists as well as journalists for issuing such edicts.
