Balochistan: Two fighters of a resistance organisation killed in a gun battle with drug smugglers
QUETTA: Two people were killed on 3rd July in Jalagi region of Zamuran in district Kech Balochistan after a gun battle between members of an armed resistance organisation and drug mafia criminals.
According to details, two armed members of the resistance organisation stopped vehicles of drug mafia groups in an effort to take them into their custody when the criminals ambushed the armed fighters from the top of a nearby mountain.
As a result of the ambush, both armed men of the resistance organisation died on the spot.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the Balochistan Liberation Front, Gwahram Baloch, in a statement on Wednesday 4th of July accepted that the armed men were members of his organisation.
He blamed a Pakistan army-backed death squad, who in the words of Gwaharam is also into the drug business, has killed the two fighters.
The BLF spokesperson named the two deceased fighters as Hussain Shahsawar aka Chesal and Haneef Lal aka Ustaad Shohaz. He paid tributes to his comrades.
