Balochistan: Baloch Doctors Forum condemns the attack on Dr Basheer Musyani

QUETTA:  The Baloch Doctors Forum (BDF) in statement on Saturday expressed serious concerns about growing violent attacks against the ‘Doctors Community’ in Balochistan.

The BDF said due to such attacks doctors in Balochistan are facing deterrence in performing their professional duties.

‘The local authorities and the ‘Balochistan Province government’ have failed to take any concrete steps for the safety of doctors,’ the BDF added.

The spokesperson of BDF said that they strongly condemn the attack on renowned Baloch surgeon Dr Basheer Musyani in Khuzdar a few days ago.

Dr Musyani has been serving in that region for the past fifteen years.

The BDF has warned the local authorities and Baloch government that if stringent measurements are not taken for the safety of doctors, ‘We will announce regular protests in this regard.’
