Baloch Martyrs Day: Free Balochistan Movement to organise an event in Germany
LONDON: The Free Balochistan Movement announced to organise an event in Germany on 13 November to commemorate the Baloch Martyrs Day.
The FBM in its statement said that like every year, this year also the FBM will organise events to commemorate the Baloch Martyrs Day and pay tributes to thousands of Baloch heroes of liberation struggle on the national remembrance day of Baloch Martyrs.
‘On 13 November 1839 Baloch leader Khan Mehrab Khan and his companions sacrificed their lives in defence of the Baloch nation and Balochistan’s sovereignty to record their names in the history of Baloch freedom struggle. Baloch nation resisted against all occupiers from British to Punjabi and Iranian Persian invaders and rendered sacrifices to national emancipation,’ FBM said.
The Free Balochistan Movement in its statement said that sacrifices of thousands of known and unknown Baloch martyrs will continue to act as guiding torch for the Baloch liberation struggle.
‘The Free Balochistan Movement will organise a memorial gathering in Germany on 13 November while there will also be an online campaign to highlight to the importance of Baloch Martyrs Day on social media,’ the statement read.
The hashtag for social media campaign will be #13NovBalochMartyrsDay – the FBM has urged all Baloch activists and supporters of Baloch freedom struggle to take part in the social media campaign.
Those who are in Germany should make an effort to join the Baloch Martyrs Day event.
