Balochistan: Six Pakistani soldiers killed and three wounded in Dera Bugti explosion
QUETTA: At least six Pakistani soldiers were killed and three others wounded in an IED blast in district Dera Bugti Balochistan on Saturday.
According to details Baloch freedom fighters have targeted a convoy of Pakistan army between Gandoi and Matt regions in Dera Bugti district with a remote-controlled IED.
As a result of the powerful blast, six Pakistani soldiers died and three were injured. The wounded soldiers were initially taken to PPL (Pakistan petroleum limited) in Sui and later shifted to Rahim Yar Punjab for treatment.
The Baloch Republican Army (BRA) spokesman, Mr Sarbaz Baloch, called media outlets in Balochistan and accepted the responsibility of the attack on Pakistani forces.
Mr Baloch said that six Pakistani troops were killed as their vehicle was completely destroyed in the remote-controlled IED blast.
He vowed that the BRA will continue to target Pakistani forces until the establishment of a free and sovereign Baloch state.
