Pakistan Military Offensives: Punjabi Army Will Not Succeed in Balochistan
Balochistan: School teacher and his brother abducted from New Kahan
QUETTA: Pakistan forces stormed houses of the residents in New Kahan Quetta on Friday midnight and abducted two brothers.
The Eyewitnesses told Balochwarna News that Pakistani forces and intelligence agencies parked their vehicles away from the houses of the locals at around 1 am last night, sneaked into the area on foot and raided several houses.
The forces reportedly beat up and harassed women and children during the midnight raid and abducted a school teacher Sher Dil Marri and his brother Nadir Khan Marri Baloch.
Sources said that Pakistani forces tortured both brothers on spot, forcibly blindfolded and took them away in the dead of night.
Teacher Sher Dil Marri is one of the teachers who volunteered to teach poor Marri Baloch children at New Kahan Quetta.
His family members and colleagues have requested the Human Rights organisation to intervene to stop the ongoing Human Rights violations and enforced disappearances by state forces in Balochistan.
It is important to recall that Abdul Rehman son of Haji Baloch Khan Marri, another teacher of the same school has been abducted in 2011 by Pakistani forces and he has not been heard of since his arrest and disappearance.
Abdul Rehman was going home by a Kirani-Quetta city route local bus when Pakistani intelligence agencies intercepted the bus at Zafarabad FC checkpoint the security forces signalled it to stop.
They asked all passengers to alight and handover their ID cards. After checking the ID of Abdul Rehman they arrested him. He was blindfolded, beaten up and dragged to the vehicle of intelligence agencies in front of all passengers and taken away.
He is languishing in the custody of Pakistani forces for the past nine years and has no access to a lawyer and his family member have neither been allowed to see nor have been informed about his wellbeing.
Balochistan based Human Rights Organisation and pro-freedom Baloch political parties have been urging the UN and other International Human Rights organisation to bring the Pakistan Army and the ISI to justice for their relentless and serious human rights violations and the genocide of the Baloch nation.
The UN, however, so far failed to take any action against Pakistan and let the Pakistani force continue their war crimes and crimes against humanity with impunity.
