Balochistan: Son of senior Baloch journalist wounded in firing incident

QUETTA: The son of senior Baloch journalist has been injured in firing by unknown assailants in Punjgur district of Balochistan, Friday.

According to details, Sartaj Waheed Baloch, son of senior journalist and chairman of Panjgur Press Club Abdul Waheed Baloch was shot and injured by unidentified gunmen near his house on Friday.

The injured youth was shifted to Quetta for further treatment after providing him first aid at Civil Hospital, Panjgur.

The young man’s condition is reported to be out of danger.

The motives behind firing at him could not be confirmed so far and no group has claimed responsibility for the incident at until the time of filing this report.
