Balochistan: The Bramsh Solidarity Committee protest against Harnai massacre

QUETTA: The Bramsh [Baloch] Solidarity Committee organised a protest demonstration outside Quetta Press Club on Friday against Pakistani forces attack in Nishpa, Harnai Balochistan.

It is important to mention that Balochistan-wide protested erupted after the murder of Malik Naz Baloch and injuring her four-year-old daughter Bramsh in Dannuk area of Turbat Balochistan – mostly the protests have been organised under of the auspices of Bramsh [Baloch] Solidarity Committee.  

While the committee was protesting against the state-backed death squads and criminals, another Baloch woman Kulsoom Baloch was killed during a similar act of robbery.  

On July 6, 2020, the Pakistan army have besieged and attacked the house of Qaisar Khan Chalgari Marri in Nishpa area of district Harnai Baloch and killed four people including Qaisar Khan his 6-year-old granddaughter Naz Bibi.

Baloch pro-freedom political parties and analysts believe that the Pakistani army and intelligence agencies have given free hand to local ‘death squads and criminal gangs’ to shift the blame from themselves to petty criminals.

The protesters have strongly condemned the killing of women and children in Harnai and demanded an end to collective punishments of Baloch populations.
