Family of Abducted Baloch Activist Demands Justice at Press Conference in Awaran
Kurd, Arabs of Al-Ahwaz and Turks of South Azerbaijan express solidarity with Baloch people
DOZZAAP (Zahedan) As a show of unity and solidarity with the people of Balochistan the political and human rights parties Kurdistan, Al-Ahwaz and South Azerbaijan have strongly condemned the killing of Baloch fuel trader and supported the ongoing civil disobedience against Iran.
The Ahwaz Democratic Popular Front has regarded the ‘massacre of Baloch’ by the Iranian army as a ‘dark day’ and deplorable.
According to a statement issued from the headquarters of Ahwaz Democratic Popular Front, a party advocating for the liberation of Ahwaz, the Iranian army and police are massacring innocent Baloch in Balochistan every day, which is an irreparable loss, he added. “History bears witness to the fact that Iran has given nothing but destruction in Balochistan.”
Describing the brutal killing of fuel workers the ADPF said 22 February was a dark day in history and added that the people of Ahwaz strongly condemn such heinous crimes and oppression.
It extended its condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for the speedy recovery of the wounded.
In a separate statement a Kurdish Human Rights organisation, Hengaw, also strongly condemned the murder of innocent fuel workers by the Iranian forces.
The Hengaw said use force by Iran’s armed troops against unarmed civilians is unacceptable and deplorable.
Meanwhile, the Central Party of Azerbaijan has condemned the indiscriminate killing of Baloch worker and said that it will arrange protests against ‘Iranian state barbarism against Baloch people.’
It said that like other oppressed nations in Iran the brave Baloch people are also facing Iran’s discriminatory and fascist policies.
According to their statement, the bloody game of oppression and barbarism that has been going on in Iranian-occupied Balochistan for decades will end in the form of Iranian Balkanisation. It further added ‘the Iranian government has always used excessive state power to silence the voices of the oppressed.’
The Central Party of Azerbaijan has expressed that they stand in solidarity with the passionate people of Balochistan and especially with the people of Saravan and support them on political and moral grounds.
