Balochistan: Iran continues executions of Baloch under different pretexts
DUZZAP (Zahedan) The Iranian forces executed three Baloch prisoners in Central Jail Zahedan – the capital of Iranian Occupied Balochistan – on the morning of November 13, 2021.
The three inmates were identified as Saadullah Khaarkohi, Obaidullah Khaarkohi and Mehboob Rakhshani.
Another Baloch inmate Mahmood Brahui was also transferred to an isolation cell for execution but his fate remained unknown at the time of filing this report.
The two brothers Saadullah and Obaidullah were residents of the Sherabad near region near Dozzap. The detainees were charged with drug offenses.
Sources reported that at least 60 Baloch prisoners are on death row currently who can be executed in the coming weeks.
The Iranian forces have already reportedly executed at least 30 Baloch inmates from the beginning of this year.
It is to be noted that the continuous executions of Baloch prisoners by Iranian authorities are often carried out in secrecy and the media is banned from reporting about such crimes of the state.
The non-Persian nations including Baloch, Kurds, Arabs and the Turks of South Azerbaijan have been long complaining that prisoners of the above-mentioned nations are not granted access to legal representation.
Earlier on November 2 and 6, 2021, the Iranian authorities hanged another two Baloch citizens in Shiraz and Dozzap jails.

Ahamd Makran was arrested about four years ago in Dozzap on drug-related charges.
However, independent sources told BW News that he was an HGV driver and suffered from heart disease.
The prisoner’s family was summoned by Dozzap Central Jail officials for a final meeting two days before his execution.
Ahmed Makran Dost’s body was laid to rest at Harmak Cemetery, Nasrabad Road last Saturday afternoon.
It is to be noted that last Saturday, along with Ahmed Makran Dost, another Baloch citizen named Yasir Gorgage son of Nasir was also hanged.
