U.S. Sanctions Four Entities Linked to Pakistan’s Ballistic Missile Program
Pakistan’s Jihadist ideology and silence of world
By Aamir Mengal
There are 195 countries in the world and each of these countries is famous for different works. Some are known for their service for a better future for humanity, some earned name for their democratic values and respect for democracy while others have achieved excellence in the field of science and technology.
But, in our world – the global village that we live in, there are some artificial countries that have different plans and ambitions. Such artificial states are a threat to the peace of the global village and its dwellers i.e. other nations. Pakistan is one of such countries that were made to create violence and promote terrorism in the world.
In this video, a Pakistani so-called defence analyst, Zaid Hamid, who openly preaches jihad (holy war) against India, America and Israel, says, ‘I pray to God for the withdrawal of America from Afghanistan and leave the Indians behind so that we can massacre them.’
He has also been giving speeches against Indian and non-Islamic nations, and continuously boasts about ‘Ghazwa-e-Hind’ battle [to defeat] India. Similarly, in this video, he’s repeating his hatred against India by saying, ‘it has been long time we [Taliban and other religious terrorists] have not killed any Hindus since a long time.’
The Taliban – supported, trained and armed by Pakistan army – are famous for their extremist ideology against non-Muslim nations in the world. The basic doctrine of Talibanisation was first introduced in Pakistan to counter the Afghan nationalism. That is why even today the Taliban’s strings are pulled from Pakistan and they are responsible for the death of hundreds of thousands innocent Afghans, Indians and Western forces.
Pakistani ‘defence analyst’ who is proudly talking about the massacre of Hindus and Indian on a mainstream Pakistani TV channel, proves that Pakistani media is also controlled by the army who support religious hatemonger and hater-preachers like Zaid Hamid. These terrorists are using Pakistani media as a tool to promote their ideology and influence people toward their holy war against neighbouring nations including Balochistan.
In Pakistan leaders of Jaish-e-Mohammad, Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hezbollah roam free and are freely invited to promote their ideology of extremism at public events and gatherings. They are provided time and space in Pakistani media to spew venom against India in the name of Jihad in Kashmir.
The point I want to make is that if Pakistan can invite ideologues of religious extremists in their media and allow them to preach hate and indoctrinate general public against India and West then why Indian media is not inviting Baloch pro-freedom leaders and activists to highlight Pakistani state crimes in occupied Balochistan where every day people are being killed and abducted by security forces of Pakistan. The situation of occupied Balochistan is continuously deteriorating and a human catastrophe is building up. The history of Bangladesh is being repeated in Balochistan but in case of Bangladesh, India supported its war of liberation. However, in the case of Balochistan where Pakistan is committing war crimes but its neighbouring nations India and Afghanistan are watching almost in silence.
A few weeks ago a senior leader of BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) has extended an invitation to the leader of Free Balochistan Movement (FBM) and requested him to attend and address an event on ‘Human Rights in Balochistan’. The FBM leader Hyrbyair Marri has accepted the invitation and agreed to visit India to highlight the ongoing human rights violations and state atrocities in Balochistan. However, the Pakistan media as usual initiated negative propaganda against Hyrbyair Marri and tried to affiliate him with an armed organisation. The aim of the Pakistani propaganda is to dilute the minds of organisers of the proposed event and to misguide the Indian public about Mr Marri and the Baloch liberation struggle.
In the past Pakistani ex-military dictator General (retired) Parvez Musharraf had done same kind of propaganda against Baloch leader but all of his allegations were proven wrong in the British Court. Pakistani state and military could not prove their accusations hence Mr Marri was acquitted. When sangat Hyrbyair Marri was arrested in the UK, the whole Baloch nation was on strike, they took to streets to protest against his arrest. Baloch and other human rights defenders in the UK had also organised protests and urged the UK government not succumb to Pakistan’s pressure.
I believe that India must not succumb to Pakistani propaganda or pressure and shy away from highlighting the issue of human rights violations in Balochistan. The Indian government should give visa to Mr Marri the earliest possible so that he can visit India and inform the Indian public and media about the plight of the Baloch nation.
It is time that the civilised world including Afghanistan, India and Bangladesh governments and media deservedly prioritise the Baloch struggle. The world must not ignore Pakistan’s war crimes in Balochistan as they did in Bangladesh because the silence of world and neighbouring nations will encourage Pakistan to continue this rampage not only in Balochistan but on the soil of Afghanistan, India, Bangladesh and rest of the world with impunity. In short, it is time to stand with the Baloch nation for sake of world peace.
