Balochistan: Iranian forces killed and injured 28 Baloch in two months
ZAHEDAN: The Iranian Mersad, Sepah and border forces killed 15 and injured 13 innocent Baloch under different pretexts in the first two months of 2019.
According to media reports and local sources, most of the victims were poor Baloch youth who were shot either dead or their vehicles overturned after the Iranian forces chased them.
The reports also reveal that the Iranian forces often do not take the injured people to the hospital and let them bleed to death. Many of the death could be avoided if the wounded persons were taken to hospitals on time.
On 4 January 2019 two Baloch were seriously wounded during a protest in Afshan against the Iranian forces hostility against Baloch transport owners and seizing of their vehicles. The Iranian forces opened indiscriminate firing at the protesters which resulted in injuring many peaceful protesters but two among them have been critically wounded.
On 20 January Abdul Shakoor son of Haibtan was shot and injured when he was on his way to Baloch Bazar in Ashar region of Balochistan, the local residents and volunteers took him to a nearby hospital for treatment.
On 22 January an aged Baloch man resident of Falka Lanj area in Konarak Balochistan was standing at Kehar bus stop when the Iranian forces opened fire at him. He was critically wounded.
Similarly, on 22 January two Baloch youth burned to death when the Iranian forces chased their vehicle and opened fire at them in Kehari area in Konarak Balochistan. Due to forces firing the driver was injured and lost control of the vehicle causing it to overturn and catch fire.
The dead bodies of the youth could not be recognised because they had fully burnt and the government did not conduct any DNA test to ascertain their identity.
Another 28-year-old Baloch youth named Abdul Razak Amiri lost his life when the Iranian forces chased his car and opened fire at him in Airshahr. His vehicle overturned, he was stuck in the car and by the time local arrive to save him he was already dead. The Iranian forces made no attempt to rescue him after his vehicle overturned.
On 8 February 2019, a Baloch fisherman named Ishaq Mallahi died because of Iranian forces firing at his boat in the port of Karagan. On the same day [8 February] Waleed Mahhali burned to death after their boat caught fire because of Iranian forces firing. His boat also caught fire and burned to ashes.
Similarly, in this incident several other fishermen including Abdullah Molazai, Asghar, a from Bangladesh was also injured, Ismael Mallahi, Murad Mallahi, Ghulam Mallahi, Arif Mallahi and Ghafoor Mallahi were also on the same boat and have been critically wounded.
On 10 February Daud Zahrozai son of Mulla Yousaf died after Iranian forces chased him and his car overturned.
Baloch fisherman Abdul Rehman Mallahi resident of Kohist region in Minab Balochistan was seriously wounded by Iranian navy on 11 February.
On 12 February Iranian forces shot dead a Baloch youth named Mohammad Kurd in Bazman region on his way to Iranshahr.
The Mersad forces of Iran shot dead Sharif Baloch resident of Kishari Bazar on 17 February.
On 23 February Abdul Ahad Lashari Baloch and another youth from Jadgal Baloch tribe were killed in Leerdaf region of Balochistan by Iranian forces.
On 21 February Saed Rasool Notezahi was killed and his friend whose identity could not be confirmed was wounded in Rotak area in Khash Balochistan.
On 26 February a Baloch youth from Delgan was shot dead by Iran’s forces. Similarly, Zahid Askani resident of Kechabad, Hamid Dehani resident of Haith, Khoda Bakhsh Dehani resident of Sehman, Jasim resident of Dargis were killed by Iranian forces but the exact date of their dead could not be obtained so far.
The Iranian media doesn’t report the killing of Baloch people by the forces and mostly engage in portraying a negative image of Baloch people in order to justify their Iranian forces brutalities in occupied Balochistan.
Since the killing of more than 40 Iranian revolutionary guards soldiers in Balochistan, the Iranian forces have intensified extra-judicial killings and arbitrary arrest in Baloch towns.
According to local sources the Iranian Persian officers threaten to kill 140 Baloch to revenge the killing of their 40 soldiers of IRGC.
